Edward Harper, Treasurer
Edward C.W. Harper IV is a Sr. Associate Portfolio Manager at Diversified Trust Company’s Memphis office. Prior to joining Diversified Trust, Edward obtained his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and undergraduate degree from Morehouse College. Professionally, Mr. Harper spent several years working in various investment banking, corporate finance, and portfolio management roles for Wachovia Securities and Bank of America. Edward is also a 2014 graduate of the New Memphis Fellows program.

Erica Hopkins, Secretary
Erica L. Hopkins is a licensed behavior analyst for the State of Tennessee and currently works in private practice serving individuals with special needs since 2012. Prior to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Erica received her Masters of Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling from The University of Memphis in 2008 and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Christian Brothers University in 2005. Ms. Hopkins was born and raised in Memphis, TN, graduating from Whitehaven High School. She has a passion for mentorship and education, working with various nonprofit agencies supporting the development of leadership skills in youth and young adults across the city for more than a decade.

A native Memphian, she earned her undergraduate degree in journalism from Lincoln University (MO) and masters in professional studies in communication arts from Cornell University. In addition to writing and managing grants for the Church Health Center, she has more than 16 years experience in fundraising and public relations with the Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Memphis, Bishop Byrne Middle & High School, Southwest Tennessee Community College and Memphis City Schools. She also volunteers with the National Civil Rights Museum and United Way of the Mid-South.

Ms. Shields is a Manager at FedEx. She earned her undergraduate degree in Information Technology Management from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN, and masters in General Management from Dowling College in Long Island, NY. She is an alumnus of Leadership Memphis, a ground-breaking leadership organization with new programs and action initiatives that drive educational achievement, diversity, inclusive and collective impact for Memphis. She is a member of the NBMBAA, an organization dedicated to developing partnerships that create intellectual and economic wealth in under-privileged communities through its five channels of engagement: career, education, entrepreneurship, leadership and lifestyle. She also volunteers with the Women’s Foundation For A Greater Memphis.

Mr. Watermeier is an Owner's Representative who has overseen over 80 out of ground construction projects over the past 20 years, ranging from $50 million to $250,000. Recent projects include Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab Therapy Facility, Idlewild Presbyterian Church, Tennessee Brewery Apartments (300 units), Arrive Hotel, Dorothy Day House of Hospitality, and University of TN Health Services Facilities. Watermeier has served on the Board of Trustees at Christian Brothers University for 8 years, was President of the CBU National Alumni Board, is a part of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis Adult Choir, and is a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. He served on the Advisory Board at both Christian Brothers High School and St. Benedict at Auburndale High School. Watermeier is an Eagle Scout and a proud husband, father (5 children), and grandfather (5 grandchildren).
